Vegteles and froops.

Tomorrow, we're going to plant our vegetable garden. I seriously wish I knew what box my camera was packed in, because I'd have taken pictures by now. We have a lovely raised bed full of store bought dirt, ready for our seeds and seedlings to grow in it. It's 8x8, which is small, but it's a start. We might make a second 8x8 bed if we feel like it, but for now, we're starting with this. Me and Erin picked out some seeds and seedlings at Lowe's today, so we have plenty of stuff to plant in our new garden. Hopefully it will work out well this time.

Also, there's something cool in this neighborhood. A guy comes around at the first of each month, selling fruit off the back of his truck. It's awesome! All kinds of fruit. Pineapples, mangoes, oranges, grapefruits (which, funny enough, Erin loves!), tangerines, apples, bananas, you name it. We bought a box of it, and the kids, of course, have been chowing down ever since. It's funny. You get something like this, and their mission in life becomes to consume it as fast as they can! I had to hide it in the pantry. A little bit of "out of sight, out of mind" seems to be working. I figure it'll last a while this way. Even if it doesn't, though, fruit home delivery.... you've gotta love that.

Oh, and in case you didn't know, chocolate ice cream with strawberries and mangoes is freaking delicious.
